We have a new box top champ!

During our fall collection, 5th grader Oscar Beas collected 4006 box tops! INCREDIBLE! PTO rewarded him by giving him 100% of his earnings to use toward Mission Springs. Way to go, Oscar. You did an amazing job!!

Box Top King

Steffan Manor's PTO wants to recognize Khalil King and his family for all their support in collecting Box Tops for Education so that Steffan Manor's students can benefit.  Khalil and his family brought in more than 2,400 Box Top coupons, helping Ms. Crabe's class win a rootbeer float party.  Mrs. Tyner's class placed 2nd and Ms. Henning's class came in 3rd place.  Each of these represents ten cents that will be used to fund field trips, recess equipment, art supplies, and events that bring families and school together.

If you have any Box Tops for Education laying around your house, please send them in to your child's teacher and they'll be sure to get to the PTO.  In our most recent round of collections, Steffan Manor collected 5,419 boxtops which will translate to $541.90 for Steffan's students.

Thanks Khalil!!!

WELCOME! WELCOME! WELCOME!

The 2017-2018 school year at Steffan Manor Elementary is here and I’m excited.
This is my 8th year of volunteering at Steffan and my 4th or 5th year as your PTO President. I’ve been here so long, I can’t keep track! I love our school, our teachers, and our staff so much, that I dedicate all of my free time to help out wherever I can.  The purpose of the PTO is to support the faculty, staff, parents, and most especially our students at Steffan Manor. Over the years, the PTO has become one of the strongest voices in the educational process that directly supports our children and school. This year will be no different. Your PTO has been busy developing the details for a very productive and exciting year aimed at enhancing the educational environment for all of our students.
In order to be successful, we know that the support and involvement of the parents/care givers of our students, the faculty and staff at Steffan Manor, is key. Your first opportunity to show your support will be to become a member of our PTO. We encourage each of you to show your commitment by joining. Please see the attached flyer regarding the new app!
The second way to show your support will be to participate in the numerous events and programs that we have planned throughout the year. Your participation might be that of a committee member, volunteer, or merely as an attendee. Whatever level of participation you select, your time and involvement will certainly be appreciated.
You also can show your support a third way by providing us your comments regarding our PTO efforts or suggestions or ideas for other potential PTO initiatives. To facilitate this, please feel free to contact me directly. We in the PTO believe that it is of ultimate importance that we do everything we can to enhance the learning environment of our children as they truly are our future. It will take all of us working together to ensure that this happens.
I look forward to working with you this year.
Thank you, Angela Croom Steffan Manor Elementary PTO President

Thank You CC Sabathia

CC and Amber Sabathia's organization, the PitCCh In Foundation, has traditionally given backpacks to second graders in Vallejo.  This year, the Sabathia family is providing EVERY student at Steffan Manor Elementary School with a free backpack filled with supplies our students need at school.

On Monday, August 24th, representatives from the PitCCh In Foundation will be at our school to deliver and distribute this amazing gift to each one of our Steffan Scholars.  Even if you've been able to provide your child a backpack for this school year, I know there are times when he or she could use a second one.  On behalf of our students, we are exceedingly grateful to the Sabathia's for their generosity.

Thank You for a great night!
